We've shifted some of our furniture (most of it originally from grandparents), to our kids. This shift left our house rather empty! Slowly, one thrift store at a time and a couple outstanding sales - finds our home able to host friends once again.
We have a huge list of IOUs. So many generous friends who have us over often.
There is something about sitting around a table with friends. A slower pace, discussing memories of days and events gone by and what we are thankful for.
And then there is the eating - God's blessings laid out before us.
We are hoping this is just the beginning of a long list of friends in our home for dinner very soon!!
