weekend report

Another weekend is over, hard to believe it has come and gone so quickly! We had great fellowship, teaching and worship this weekend.

Our Setlist:

Instrumental during countdown - I Feel The Earth Move (sax on melody - it rocked!)
Annuoncements: Deering Dyer (our Small Group guy)
How Can I Keep From Singing
Love the Lord
One Voice ( an original song by Milo who is one of our worship leaders)
Mighty To Save (Hillsong)
You Are Good (Gateway)

Wendell Anderson taught on "Finishing Well"
don't know if I have ever heard a message concerning Retirement. I found it fascinating to consider that the Bible really doesn't talk about retirement, but talks about a "long endurance" which suggests staying involved and working your whole life. Wendell didn't speak against retiring from a job at a certain point, but taught how important it is to stay actively involved, especially where it applies to the church and service the Lord. Cool service!

If you want to see what other ministries around the county used in their worship services this weekend click here.

I Feel The Earth Move - what a great way to open a service where God is going to shake the ground with His presence!
