the 4th of July-ish

We celebrated the 4th early by continuing our 15 year old tradition of going to my home town for the Balloon Glow! Great fun!

Our evening began by stopping by Southview GBC, my home church. They have hosted a whifle ball contest for 10 consecutive years - hosting 98 teams this year!

We watched our nephew Ethan pitch his team to a 12-4 victory! We then enjoyed the delicious brats cooked by none other than my dad!

We then made our way to the LynWay our favorite 'down home' restaurant to eat more and build up strength for the long walk to the field of balloons.

The balloons lived up to their reputation lighting up to the glee and cheers of the HUGE crowd.

It was a great night and it was our early celebration since we work tomorrow night at Crossroads!
