my crossrosswalk

Today at my crosswalk in Minneapolis (the crosswalk near the coffee shops - mine for one more day)...I saw a beautiful tiny Asian girl holding her daddies hand.

As he stood focused on the crosswalk light, I watched as she struggled to spin, to twirl, she grinned as she attempted to dance. She tried to move as a graceful dancer moves when an attentive partner holds a hand overhead assisting a graceful turn. Like the groom proudly spins his new bride. Over and over she tried.

The father never noticed his tiny dancer and as the light changed they walked, they did not dance.

It reminded me of missed opportunities to love to watch to assist beautiful happenings, how many have I missed?
