sites of minneapolis

I was intrigued as soon as I saw pictures of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum. Amazing looking building! Very cool!

As we continued our walk yesterday evening we crossed the Mississippi and as we neared the far side we found these trees completely full of shoes, boots, all things footwear...no idea what the significance of this is, but I'll try to track down the info today. You have to look carefully to see them on the left hand side of the picture, and one or two scattered ones at the top and other side.

Today is our last day here, we haven't seen as much of the city as I had wanted, but workshops are the reason we came so I guess Joci should attend those...we'll talk soon...
