Anointed was the word of the weekend. Our two worship leaders are working with all of our teams spending time at every rehearsal studying the "Heart of the Artist" book. We are already reaping huge rewards as a result of our teams connecting with one another and their Lord on a whole new level.
Our set list was the thematic support to the teaching that we had hoped for:
Opening Instrumental: WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU
Announcements
O PRAISE HIM - Crowder
BLESSED BE THE NAME - (shortened)
THE LORDS PRAYER - original by Milo Sgambelone (one of our worship leaders)
BREATHE
RESCUE - Desperation Band Performed as a special after the congregation was seated, but they jumped to there feet or raised their hands worshiping as it was performed. Just an amazing response!
Message: Prayer
Special Music: SMALL ENOUGH - this took place within the final minutes of the message.
We then went back into BREATHE - the perfect ending to our worship and prayer filled day! God was good.

A great lineup of songs! I love Crowders hymn versions!
Great set as well Lori. Thanks for stopping my my blog yesterday. Have a blessed week!
I think its awesome that your congregation jumped to their feet and totally started worshiping during a Special Music song! Sounds like a great day!
I love O Praise Him. We're going to introduce some Dave Crowder this year (finally), but starting with his more up beat songs - No One Like You will be first, looking forward to it.
The response to Rescue is wonderful too. Love that ! God bless you.
Great list. Breathe is one I could sing a lot more and not mind one bit.
I love that your church is doing a series on Prayer. So is ours. and guess what? haha. we are using the SAME picture for the prayer (the one with the hands folded on ya'll's website!) haha too cool.
Love O Praise Him what a great song! :)
That is hilarious! Oh well, they always say "don't recreate the wheel"! We all have so much to do and so little time!
If a graphic is good, it's good!
