To reflect on 'what Christ has done for us' we looked at our minuscule sacrifices compared to His ultimate sacrifice of willingly giving Himself to save us... humbling
Not only did He sacrifice He did it while I was still a sinner - in rebellion an enemy and still He loved me! No good in me - and yet He loved me.
People started talking about things from which they've been forgiven, they humbled themselves not only before their Savior but before their brothers and sisters on the team.
As I searched my heart for unconfessed sin I looked back at my life not necessarily able to name large sins in the eyes of the world but once again realizing that the deeply hidden sin also sent Him to the cross, my hidden thoughts and attitudes crucified Him - I crucified Him....
The removed clamor of being away from home reveals what needs to be seen ... What needs to be revealed...
