a rainy day in a busy week

I would tend to work non-stop even if not needed the week leading to Easter because I get so caught up in the preparations, so I'm thankful for a rainy day.

A rainy day to be inside all day long with my grand-babies.  Tiny shoes and creative minds ready to be poured into.
A rainy day brings perspective in an otherwise somewhat crazy week.

We did things that were very important!  They definitely were not things that lent themselves to clean houses or high organization, instead we explored magazines and glue sticks and pepperoni.  Unforgettable rainy day things.

I'm thankful for days with no agenda - with time in it to talk of God and slow time to realize how quickly days go by and how soon these babies will be grown..

Rainy day...
